Problem inviting members to my organization (Access denied / Pending invitation issue)

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a really frustrating issue with the “Invite member” feature on Make.
Here’s what’s happening:

  • I invited another user (with a brand new Make account) to join my organization as an Admin.

  • The user received the invitation email and clicked Accept invitation.

  • After accepting, they get redirected to their own personal Make dashboard, not my organization.

  • On my side, the status still shows “Pending invitation”, and if they try to access my org manually, they get “Access denied”.

I already contacted support and followed their advice to remove and re-invite the user, but the issue persists — still “Access denied” and the invitation remains pending.

I’m trying to understand:

  1. Is this a known bug or a limitation of the Free/Pro plan?

  2. Do both accounts need to be on the same plan type?

  3. What’s the correct way to invite someone (like a collaborator or freelance consultant) to access an organization’s space?

My goal is to simulate a real client situation where I need to be invited into a client’s Make organization to configure and deploy scenarios for them.
Right now, this feature just doesn’t seem to work as expected.

Any help or clarification would be really appreciated — this is a key part of my workflow as a Make consultant.

Thanks in advance,
