"Retrieve RSS Feed Items" How does this work? How do I prevent duplicate posts?

What are you trying to achieve?

Automatically populate social media accounts from Etsy listings (Instagram and Facebook)
I have set up multiple Scenarios that all seem to work when I run them manually.

Steps taken so far

I don’t understand what I’m doing when I choose a listing from the RSS feed. If I choose one to start, then set it up to run every day, will it possibly repeat the same listing? Is it going in a oldest>newest order? I really don’t care what gets posted I just don’t want duplicates, I just want every listing to eventually be its own social media post with a link and an image.

Ok I have clarified the question. If I run a few scenarios manually using “choose first listing” and then it runs automatically as scheduled, what will happen? Will it post duplications or is there something set up to prevent posting the same thing twice?

Use the “Watch RSS Feed Items” trigger module instead of “Retrieve RSS Feed Items”.
