When I pass a meeting datetime to our CRM it stores it one hour earlier in the database. My Organization Settings are set to “(GMT+00:00) Europe/London”. However the UK is not currently GMT+00:00.
How would I implement a solution so that the scenario can run throughout the year without manually having to edit the scenario and/or change my Organization settings when the clocks go back/forward?
For information I have tried creating the meeting using
- {{formatDate(3.date; YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss)}}
- {{formatDate(3.date; YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss;”GMT”)}}
Results in:
Incidentally, the CRM users timezone setting is set to GMT+1. FYI all dates are stored in GMT time and depending on the logged in users timezone settings, the times displayed in the UI may be different.
If the GMT param is added, a 1PM meeting is stored in CRM as 11:00+1, presenting the meeting as 12pm to the BST user.
If GMT is not added, meeting is stored in CRM as 12:00+1. CRM users sees it correctly as 1PM however when running a Postman query looking for the 1PM meeting, it is not found unless I search for 12pm.
Let me know if you need more details and thanks in advance for any advice/help.
