Using Make to support fair salary revisions

Upfront, before Make could help support equitable salary revisions, our company culture had to evolve towards greater maturity. As an organization we had to settle the performance feedback, salary appraisal, and promotion process by adapting a standard across a multi-year journey with occasional unhappiness.

Upon reaching the shared fairness vision, the annual salary revision process became much easier to handle. Even better, we shifted from April-only updates to a person’s join month. Thereby ensuring greater fairness and reduced workloads for managers and compensation folks.
