Web hook between Expandi.io and Pipedrive CRM

What are you trying to achieve?

Connecting Expandi.io and Pipedrive CRM to automatically create a contact in Pipedrive, once a trigger criteria is met in Expandi io.

Steps taken so far

I currently use the condition “tag is associated to contact” in Expandi io to trigger a contact creation in Pipedrive.

So far, I have successfully managed to set up a web hook in Expandi io, which I connected within Make. Furthermore, I added an action step to create a contact in Pipedrive. Everything works fine, however, only when the scenario is on “run once”. During this state, assigning a tag to a contact in Expandi io leads to the contact creation in Pipedrive.

However, if I do not manually select “run once” before performing the action (although the scenario is set to “Immediately as data arrives” and is “ON”), nothing happens. Expandi.io shows me that data is being sent successfully, so I have the feeling that Make is only recognising data from Expandi io if it is on “Run once”.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as this is still a new field for me. Thanks a lot in advance!

*Edit: I made a cross-check with sending a Slack message everytime the trigger criteria is met in Expandi io, and this works perfectly fine. This leads me to the assumption that data flows in perfectly, but Pipedrive actions might be the problem.

Hi @Michael_Reissner,

this seems weird! How does the Make history log look like? In your scenario you can click on “History” and then into the details of one execution. Maybe you have a filter before the pipedrive module?

Best,
Richard
