the openai API has had the web search tool for a while now instead of websearch preview, but unfortunately it’s still not available in Make.com / generate a response module or am I missing something?

Hi, I have exactly the same issue. From my understanding, it’s not the same thing to add a tool that OpenAI can use to answer a prompt and to have a dedicated prompt exclusively for web search. Furthermore, OpenAI has just released a new GPT-5 model dedicated to web search (not the outdated web_search preview) : gpt-5-search-api
