I’m very happy to inform you guys that my Standard API access has been granted!
This is how I did it:
- Recorded a screen capture video + voice over :
- Explained the current connection process + showed the 401 error
- Explained why I think I need the standard access to get a solution to this 401 error
- Showed the scenario where I use the Pinterest module
- Explained the 2 ways you can connect the API of Pinterest in the module
- Showed the connect button available for everyone without standard access
- Showed the connection tab in make.com to refresh connections
- Did an example run of the scenario and showed the publication on my page afterward (for some reason in the test I didn’t get the 401 error. xD)
- Explained that Make.com refers to Pinterest for this specific issue
- Showed the make.com community and explained more people have this specific 401 issue
- Told them I would update the community if I got granted access and if it would solve my 401 issue.
So at the moment the scenario on my page has run twice without error. I did have to add the URI’s, not sure which ones I needed to add so I did these 4:
Hope this helps for anyone looking into this problem.
