Hi there (all the community and Make Team),
I ve just received the information (title in the title), i would say that it would have beeen more clever to create a bunch of specific modules to deal with the Shopify V3 (Graphql obligation), rather than update the existing modules.
Now i am afraid to see all the scenarios i have in production stop working until i make a migration quickly. Is there a chance a compatibility exists ?
Shopify stops REST API for Public apps, and i guess like some of Make users, the scenario i ve build are use as private apps in my customers Shopify.
I m sure they wont appreciate to be invoiced for migration, especially if they read the Shopify comment about the private apps.
Well now that is said, in how many time do i (we) have to do this migration, and is ther a compatibility and for how long ?
Thank you for reaching out. I completely understand your concerns, especially with the quick turnaround.
We’d like to provide some clarification regarding the timeline and necessary steps for migrating. If you’re using the default connection via Make’s OAuth , please note that this may result in degraded performance , especially for /product endpoints, as previously communicated. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a complete list of all affected endpoints due to variability in use cases.
If you are using your own Shopify app (public or private) , it’s important to review the relevant deprecation timelines and follow Shopify’s recommended migration procedures.
To avoid any service disruption or degraded performance starting July 2025 , we strongly recommend migrating from REST to GraphQL as soon as possible. The impact will depend on the specific credentials and endpoints/modules in use.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with this transition. We’re here to help.
