Hi all,
I’ve been experiencing persistent issues with the Airtable “Create Record” module. The error message [422] Unknown field name: … keeps appearing – but the field in question does exist in the Airtable table, with the exact same name.
I know this is a quite frequent error, but all the solutions in the community didn’t work so far.
I’ve:
-
Created multiple new tables from scratch in Airtable
-
Rebuilt the scenario from zero (over 50 times)
-
Deleted and re-added the Airtable module in Make
-
Re-linked the Airtable base and re-selected the table manually
-
Ensured that all field names are 100% correct and not auto-generated
What’s strange:
-
The module always fails on one specific field (e.g. input_type)
-
When I remove that field, it fails on the next one (e.g. input_value)
-
This continues in a loop – almost as if Make cannot correctly read the full schema
All fields are visible in the Airtable table and contain only plain text or single select. We’ve tried using a freshly imported CSV and even renamed the base – no change.
Your support is highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot in advance!
Sebastian
