This is a great achievement.

Kudos to Make.

Thank you for making it! I had tried to make my own custom app of the same thing, until now I didn’t notice you had already released it!

Unfortunately, when I tried to connect it, I got a error that says {"message":"The request failed due to failure of a previous request.","code":"SC424","suberrors":[{"message":"[invalid_scope] Requested scopes are not allowed for this client.","name":"InvalidConfigurationError"}]}

awesome! I also made a “feature request” on canva dev asking for adding the autofill endpoint as well as brandtemplates (or any template handling) to make.com as many of our clients keep asking for automations involving aufofilling canva templates, but since this is only available for enterprise licenes which itself is only available for companies with more than 25 canva users, the current work around is to find and suggest alternatives to canva.

I personally like using canva and would love to use it more via make - hence the request towards canva, but also expressing this wish for autofill and brandtemplate endpoints here :wink:

Awesome. Do you have any uses cases with canva module inside? I’m trying to use “Create a design” in my flow, and it is not working. Any help o use case i can see?

This is a game changer! Thanks for the update!

This would be a game changer! However, I am struggling to setup a connection between make and Canva. How do I get Client-ID and Client Secret? Thanks for helping out @vendy !

In addition, it seems I can only create a Client Secret, if I create a public integration. In your announcement you are mentioning “Our new Canva app makes it possible to design various marketing materials like presentations, social media posts, and more“. I would like to only make a connection to my regular Canva account, accessing my designs. It his possible @vendy ?

so if I dont have enterprise account I can only create empty designs basically, using the new MAKE modules? :worried:

How do I get Client-ID and Client Secret ?

I guess you’re referring to this in the Create a Connection dialog, when you select “Show advanced settings”):

The short answer is that in 99% of cases you don’t need to. That’s only if you’re creating your own Canva OAuth app at the Canva end.

We’ve already done that for you. So you don’t need to use “Show advanced settings” at all, and don’t need Client ID and Secret.

You can also use the Upload an Asset or Import a Design modules to bring in images that you’ve created in other tools.

Thanks, very much appreciated!

sorry, still did understand whats so powerful about this module.

:mega: Just a quick update:

We’ve added new templates for Canva. You can check them out here as well as in the updated original post:
