Automate Merry Christmas & Year-End Greetings with Make

Hi Make Community!

I wanted to share an idea to automatically send Merry Christmas and Year-End greetings to a list of contacts using Make

It’s simple to set up and a great way to keep messages personal without sending them one by one.

The idea is to store your contacts in Google Sheets, Airtable, or a Data Store, and let Make loop through them. For each contact, you can use an AI module (like OpenAI) to generate a personalized message based on their name, language, relationship (client, partner, team), or even past interactions.

For example, the AI can generate slightly different messages for each contact so they don’t feel generic: “Hi John! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a successful start to the New Year. Thanks for being part of our journey this year!”

Once the message is generated, Make sends it via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or any channel you prefer. You can also schedule the scenario to run on Dec 24 or Dec 31 and just let it do its thing.

You can easily enhance this by randomizing tones (formal vs friendly), adding images or GIFs, or filtering who should receive which message.

Just wanted to share this idea in case it’s useful for someone this holiday season.

If anyone has suggestions or ideas to improve this setup, I’d love to hear them!

Happy automating and happy holidays!

Regards, Tony
