Let’s walk through how this automation works, step by step.
Step 1: Setting up your video database
We start with a Google Sheet as our video database. The first column stores the topic for the video.
For example, one of our topics is:
“A group of motorbike riders exploring hilly terrain.”
This topic will be used to generate the video, caption, and description automatically.
Step 2: Trigger video generation
In the Google Sheet, we have an Action column. Clicking “Create Video” triggers the first automation scenario:

GPT-4.1 generates the video prompt based on the topic.

A caption and description are created automatically.

Google V3 generates the video using the prompt.

The video is uploaded to Google Drive, a share link is created, and all details (caption, description, status) are updated back in the Google Sheet.
After this step, the status will show “Video Generated” in the sheet.
Step 3: Upload video to TikTok
Once the video is ready, click “Post to TikTok” in the Action column. This triggers the second scenario:

The app downloads the generated video from Google Drive.

Using our TikTok automation app, it uploads the video to the connected TikTok account.

You can set privacy, video cover, AI-generated label, and other options.

After a short wait, the app checks the upload status and updates the Google Sheet as “Published”.
