I’m facing an issue with the Watch Emails Gmail module in make.com where I’m only able to capture the plain text content of emails, not the HTML formatting.
I’m trying to send the captured email content to another email address using the Send Email module, but the plain text format makes it difficult to read.
Does anyone have experience with capturing HTML content from this module or know of a workaround for sending formatted emails? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Can you show how your GMail module and advanced settings if any are configured?
Can you try once with normal filter instead of Gmail filter and see if it gets the html
Thanks, I tried with simple filter but still I am getting empty in HTML content in the output.
As i can see in the screenshot it is written that the email was sent from a contact us form
may be that’s the reason it is not getting the html data
you can try running the watch module by triggering another mail from Gmail site/app and then check whether it captures the html or not

Emails have multiple “parts” - one for plain text and one for HTML. Maybe the email that is being sent from your contact us form is sending all the content in the plain text part leaving the HTML part open. Gmail is just rendering the plain text for you into HTML because it has to. It doesn’t mean the email has the HTML part.
Try sending an HTML email to yourself and check that email with the Make app – I bet it will have HTML.

Thanks a lot @alex.newpath
The wordpress plugin responsible for sending email was sending emails in plain text. I changed it to HTML format and it worked.
Thanks @abhilash_naik for your input as well.
