Change scenario owner?

Hello, my organization recently upgraded to a teams subscription, so that we can better manage different users and scenarios.

Forgive the simple question, but I’m trying to figure out how to change the owner of a scenario. We used to only have the one login so that user currently ‘owns’ everything, but now that we are on teams tier I’d like to reassign ownership to the real users that actually built these scenarios.

Any way to do this? Thanks.

Hello @avlmapper :waving_hand:

Check our documentation related to your topic. Here is all the important information. :down_arrow:

Steps to Manage Team Members:

  1. Go to the Team section from the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Users tab to view all users in your organization and see their roles within the selected team. Users who are not part of that team will have their role set to None.
  3. Assign a role to a user by clicking the Role menu and selecting a role other than None.

Available Roles:

  • Team Admin: Full access to all data in the team. Only admins can create custom functions.
  • Team Member: Full access to all data but cannot manage users or delete the team.
  • Team Monitoring: Read-only access to the team, scenarios, and templates.
  • Team Operator: Read-only access to all team data but can activate/stop scenarios and manage scenario schedules.
  • Team Restricted Member: Full access to team data but cannot make modifications.

Thank you this is helpful, but I’m still trying to find a way to change the owner of an existing scenario. Is this possible to do?

I can make a clone of a scenario with a different user, so then that user owns the copy, but this would be pretty cumbersome to have to do for all our scenarios.

Thank you

Hello @avlmapper :waving_hand:

The creator of a scenario cannot be changed. And if you’d like to control which users can access specific scenarios, consider moving them to a separate team that only includes the relevant scenarios for those users. Hope this helps.

Ok thank you for the information. That would probably be something good to put on the roadmap for future functionality.

Is there a way to move a scenario to a new team? Since we just moved to the teams tier, all of our scenarios are under the first team we created, but we need to move a lot of them to a different team.

Thank you
