Clickup error send email : Missing value of required parameter 'to'

Hello,

I have a Clickup support form and I want that when the status of the task is set to Resolved Make sends an email to the address entered in my form.

The problem is that when I map the field in question, I get an error message: Missing value of required parameter ‘to’.

What should I do?

Hi @Philippedetahiti ,

Could you add 2 screenshots:

  • one for the output bundle you use to fill the data in the emailing module
  • one for the input mapping of the emailing module?

Currently, it seems that the recipient is not filled…

Is Email address 1 the address of the recipient of the mail (or is it the sender)?

Just under, there is another field for a recipient, what can you do with that?

The address of the recipient of the mail, the second field Email address 2.

I want it to retrieve the ticket recipient’s email address from the form and make to use this address to send an email to the same recipient.
I don’t understand, but that’s what I set?

Hi @Philippedetahiti ,

That’s true it is not very clear, but there is a red message “Field must not be empty”, that’s certainly the origin of your problem, could you use the “Custom Fields: Email Address” in this field too ?

Hello,

there is a ClickUp internal automation you can use to send emails, no need to use Make for this.

If you do need to process some extra things using Make, then the issue is that you are missing a recipient email - like you already noted, the Email address 2 needs to either be filled with something or removed.
