Connecting Google Slides (Failed to Load Data) - Questions on samliew's solution

What are you trying to achieve?

My goal is to connect Google slides using “Create A Slide From A Template Slide”. I have followed @Samliew’s guide here: Connecting Google Slides (failed To Load Data) - #2 by samliew

On Step 3d I have Published my OAuth2 app. Since Sam had suggested to Publish the app “otherwise the credentials expire very frequently.”

However I received an additional banner that says: “Your app requires verification. When you have finished configuring your information, please submit your app for review.”
Is this something I need to do in order to keep the credentials from expiring? (I have attached a screenshot of this message)

Steps taken so far

I have followed all of the steps recommended by @Samliew in: Connecting Google Slides (failed To Load Data) - #2 by samliew
With his steps I have also followed along with the official make doc: https://www.make.com/en/help/apps/it-and-development/g-suite-admin#connecting-to-google-services-using-oauth2

Screenshots: scenario setup, module configuration, errors

This is not an error. You can ignore it.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

@samliew

P.S.: Investing some effort into the Make Academy will save you lots of time and frustration using Make.

Thanks. So the app sits in a limbo of not being in test but also not being in prod, interesting.

Anyways my main concern is that the credentials/app is not going to expire ever. If that is indeed true, then I think I’m good to go.

Thanks!

No, it is in prod, but need to be verified to extend the number of users authenticating using your GCP app.

Therefore you can ignore it.
