Google Slides - Failed to Load Data

Hello everyone

I’m fighting with the GSlide integration, despite following multiple times the message posted on every topic: Connecting Google Slides (failed To Load Data) - #2 by samliew

Fresh new client, all scopes checked, APIs activated Gmail, Google Drive API, Google Slides API & Web Search indexing API; however I keep getting the “Failed to load data” from my Google Slides add-on:

I’m giving up for today; maybe the community has some ideas

Welcome to the Make community!

Please show us which scopes and Redirect URIs you have enabled in your GCP project.

Also, try using the Google Slides “List Presentations” module before your current module:

Retrieves a list of all presentations.

Then, run that module once only and delete it if you no longer need it.

For more information, see the Google Slides page in the Make Help Centre, which covers the following:

  • Connect Google Slides to Make
  • Build Google Slides Scenarios

and also,

  • Create and configure a Google Cloud Platform project for Google Slides
  • Presentation
  • Slide

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

P.S.: Investing some effort into the Make Academy will save you lots of time and frustration using Make.

Omg you’re my savior,
I checked directly by using the module “list presentation” and it prompted the Oauth 2 for further permissions, which once granted allowed all the modules to work.
Thanks a lot !
