Hi there!
I’m using the ConvertKit API documentation for Get Stats.
I’m wondering where I need to put the api_secret parameter.
I’ve tried adding it to the following places:
- within the Endpoint
- in the header
- in the query string
- within the body
Each resulted in “the operation failed with an error. Error authorization failed API Key not present.”
Does anyone have any idea where I need to put the “api_secret”?

Hi @yazzi
You are already using convertkit app module. Hence, the api key should be entered while establishing/adding the connection.

hi msquare_automation that’s what I thought, but it still delivers this error.
Could you please share the screenshot of connection window? hide your api key

thanks so much for your help!
Yes, i’ve made a few connections to test, thinking maybe i had to start fresh, but here’s the list:
when I add a new connection, I just name it and add my api_secret
It should work fine. Please try checking in your connections that whether you connection need re-authorization.

Thanks, I tried that too. I will reach out to make, maybe it’s a bug?
Hi @yazzi Can you try your url without the “#” in front of your broadcast id?
So: /v3/broadcasts/13677195/stats
