Creating threads and comments with Buffer app

I wonder if there is a way to update a status update in Buffer to include comments or initiate a thread from X in the Buffer app. I am able to create the initial social media post, but it would be great to update the same post to include comments like reference links as comments or initiate a thread of the post (works better in X for engagement). Any thoughts here?
