Email Automation: Data parsing into Sheets

I want to help on Email parsing and putting the data into sheets. I have a working automation, but it is inefficient.

Brief:

Our team send cold emails. And we get automatic reply like this:

"Your message has been delivered to the following recipients:

[Email adress],

Subject: Delivered: Service XYZ"

We want to save these emails for further campaigns. And that’s why we want to store them on Sheets. However, I want to add only unique emails.

My problem: we get the same emails put into Sheets. I want only the unique ones.

Because Emails are send on repeat, I don’t want to add the ones I’ve already added in the past. Basically sitaution is like this:

  1. We write to the new recipients (that’s why we want to save them to Sheets)
  2. We write to the existing recipeints (that’s why we don’t want to save them to Sheets)

Because of this I want to filter between “New” and “Old” recipients.

I have an explanatory Loom: https://www.loom.com/share/0e4f58b96d074a20a6e7e38a2177f334?sid=6b421943-db86-49ef-b3bd-cc5f2ac3fdaf

What I didn’t mention in the Loom: I’m parsing not only the “New” Emails, but the “Old” ones as well. By Old I mean emails that were sent 3-12 months ago. I want them saved as well.

Could you look into my case and offer advice on a problem I described?

Welcome to the Make community!

I can’t copy anything out of the loom, and it is not very useful to this forum.

If you need further assistance, please provide the following:

1. Screenshots of module fields and filters

Please share screenshots of relevant module fields and filters in question? It would really help other community members to see what you’re looking at.

You can upload images here using the Upload icon in the text editor:

2. Scenario blueprint

Please export the scenario blueprint file to allow others to view the mappings and settings. At the bottom of the scenario editor, you can click on the three dots to find the Export Blueprint menu item.

(Note: Exporting your scenario will not include private information or keys to your connections)

Uploading it here will look like this:

blueprint.json (12.3 KB)

3. And most importantly, Input/Output bundles

Please provide the input and output bundles of the modules by running the scenario (or get from the scenario History tab), then click the white speech bubble on the top-right of each module and select “Download input/output bundles”.

A.

Save each bundle contents in your text editor as a bundle.txt file, and upload it here into this discussion thread.

Uploading them here will look like this:

module-1-input-bundle.txt (12.3 KB)
module-1-output-bundle.txt (12.3 KB)

B.

If you are unable to upload files on this forum, alternatively you can paste the formatted bundles in this manner:

  • Either add three backticks ``` before and after the code, like this:

    ```
    input/output bundle content goes here
    ```

  • Or use the format code button in the editor:

Providing the input/output bundles will allow others to replicate what is going on in the scenario even if they do not use the external service.

Following these steps will allow others to assist you here. Thanks!
