Email instant/ semi instant action ( please help )

:bullseye: What is your goal?

I am building a email organization automation that automatically labels emails when they come in. I want the automation to run only when and exactly when a new email comes in, so it doesn’t waste time and credits.

 What is the problem?

I can only run the scenario every minute or 10 minutes etc, i dont want it to run every x amount of minutes because that wastes credits and is not instant. I want it to only run exactly when a new email comes in but I dont know how to do that. ( I am using gmail )

:test_tube: What have you tried so far?

Using ‘from now on’ still wastes credits. ive heard to use webhooks but I have no idea how to set that up.

Welcome to the Make community!

Yes, you can use the Webhook “Custom Mailhook” module, which is an instant trigger.
For more information, see Webhooks - Apps Documentation

No, a Mailhook is the trigger module that listens to new forwarded mails from Gmail. Follow the links/ instructions to set it up.
