Evernote Update Notes action

New Make user here. I am looking for someone who has experience using the Evernote Update Notes action.

I am trying to create a scenario that adds 2 additional tags to newly-created notes. The Watch Notes trigger is working correctly. I am having trouble getting the properties correct on the Update Notes action.

Note Id: I select the Note Id from the trigger. I would’ve thought this would be enough to find the Note.

Title: the title from the trigger - can’t be left blank

Content: content from the trigger - can’t be left blank

Tags: the new tags I want to add to the note.

When the properties are set as above Make trashes the content of the note. All formatting removed and the text in one long string without line breaks.

I am sure the problem is at my end. I just can’t figure out what to change. Any ideas?

Does the “Watch Notes” trigger already provide the Title and Content? If yes just map those variables back into the Update Notes module.
