🔥 Feature Spotlight: Maia Updates for Plan Mode, Memory, and Resolve Error

Maia Updates Help You Plan, Build, and Fix Make Scenarios With More Context

Review the full approach before anything changes in your scenario, carry your preferences from one chat to the next, and go from a failed run to a fix you review before saving.

:magic_wand: Maia updates are here, and they cover your work from planning through debugging.

:new_button: What’s New in Maia Updates

  • New Plan mode: Plan asks all its questions up front, shows the modules, assumptions, and approach, and starts building only once you approve the plan. It also checks connections, app capabilities, and plan-tier access along the way, so problems show up before the build. Build stays the default: Maia asks questions one at a time and builds after you approve each step. Both modes work for new and existing scenarios.
  • Memory: Save private preferences about the apps and accounts you use or avoid, your preferred response detail, and language. Memory is saved per user, per team, and teammates never see yours. You can store up to 50 memories of 200 characters each, and you can add, edit, delete, clear, or turn off memories at any time.
  • Attach image: Upload, drag and drop, or paste up to three PNG, JPEG, or WebP images per session, up to 1.5 MB each. Maia reads each image once, and Make does not store it.
  • Resolve error: Maia reads your run data to see what passed through a module, where a run stopped, and whether the issue has happened before. Click Resolve error, and Maia revises the scenario from that data. You review the change before saving.
  • Copy response: Copy any Maia response in one click and paste it as markdown into Slack, documentation, or another chat

:flexed_biceps: Maia Updates Use Cases for Make Automation

  • Review a proposed multi-step lead routing scenario in Plan mode before Maia adds modules to your scenario.

  • Save your preferred apps and response style, so you do not need to restate them in every new chat.

  • Drop in a sketch, whiteboard snapshot, or screenshot of a workflow, and ask Maia to build from it.

  • Open a failed run, ask Maia to find where the data stopped moving, and click Resolve error to review a revised scenario.

  • Copy Maia’s diagnosis of an error into Slack or shared documentation so teammates get the full breakdown without a rewrite.
