Extremely excited about this. I currently build my scenarios with Claude cowork and it’s been mostly fine, I’d sayingg about 85% accurate but there are some limitations such as selecting the correct connetion in make that Claude sometimes struggles with, or selecting deprecated modules. But for now, I am very happy with Claude CoWork. However, I want to transition to using make instead

Quick one back at you first: are you using the Make skills for Claude when you build? They’re designed exactly for this kind of setup, and they help a lot with the two things you flagged (picking the right connection, avoiding deprecated modules).
On your questions: 1. Can Maia be controlled from a Claude Cowork prompt or through the MCP connector? No. If you want to keep building from Claude, using Make skills for Claude is the best route right now. Maia lives inside the Scenario Builder, so she’s a different surface rather than something you drive remotely.
2. A framework or prompt guide for complex scenarios with routing
Really like this suggestion, we’ll take it back to the team. It’s the kind of thing that would help a lot of builders.
3. Giving Maia visual layouts to build from
It’s on our roadmap, so stay tuned. Would love to know what “visual layout” looks like on your end – a diagram, a screenshot of an existing scenario, something sketched? That detail would help to shape how we build it.
4. Advice for someone with all their scenario knowledge already in Claude
We want to support both ways of building, whatever you prefer. It’s clear that within Claude, you have your context available. And Claude currently can see the landscape and build various scenarios (one of the skills we want to build for Maia).
At the same time, Maia has certain advantages when building: she can help with running, reading outcomes, and adjusting based on them. She has better ways of validating.
We want both ways of building to be on a par so that you can pick your preferred approach. For now, what I think could be a good split is to leverage Maia for the actual building/testing/adjusting of scenarios. While keeping Claude for deciding how to adjust your system holistically based on the context. Basically, using it to guide Maia on what to build (either by providing the initial skeleton or at least a short plan).

Yes, the prompt guide is awesome. In the demos I see the it’s mostly linear, but many of my scenarios have routing and if-then and things like that
Visual layouts would like a diagram with block names and functions, not necessarily the exact modules but more to demonstrate to Maia what the flow and layout would be, especially for complex scenarios that have routing
Love the suggestion of using claude to prompt Maia (basically lol)
I do have a follow up question - can Maia duplicate existing scenarios but change out the connectors?
I just installed the make build skill into Cowork. It seems to not be able to modify existing scenarios based on what I read in the skill instructions. Am I correct in my understanding?

Maia can absolutely change connections for you. She doesn’t have visibility across all your scenarios yet, so duplicate the scenario first, then ask her to adjust it from there.
