Fetching profiles on a Klaviyo Segment

I am wanting to watch profiles that are being added to a Klaviyo segment. However, when the module runs it never returns anything:

It only returns anything when I got to ‘Choose where to run from’ and select ‘All’:

I am not getting any errors, Its just not returning anything when it runs. I have tried changing the Schedule settings but that doesn’t work either.

Would really appreciate some help here.

Thanks !

Hello! Welcome to the Make Community!

In general the Modules stamped “Watch” are used to get the new items each time you execute. So, when the scenario runs, if there is no new item, it returns nothing; if new items were created since last scenario run, it picks these items.

But when you are designing your scenario, and you test, it will keep track of what you already grabbed.

So, in order to test, you have the option “Choose where to start”, where you can select what items you want to grab for your tests.

Here is a little example with Gmail

Right-click on your module.

@Benjamin_from_Make Thanks for your reply. Yes I understood that’s how it works but it is not picking up new items that are being added. It is really strange because when I go to show all or choose manually they change from day to day but when it runs automatically it just doesn’t grab any new items.

Any ideas?
Thanks

It’s weird it doesn’t work on your side. I tested, I configured my segment, and I scheduled a scenario to watch new members in that segment.

When I add a new profile in the segment, the next time the scenario executes, it grabs this new profile, as expected.

Just one thing to mention; when you “run once”, the data is grabbed and the automatic execution won’t have the same items. Run once is considered a “forced” execution of the same scenario - just saying this in case you were not aware of it.

Can you try to delete and re-configure the module? (sorry, you will have to change the mappings in the subsequent modules)

@Benjamin_from_Make , thanks yes very odd indeed. I have had to use an alternative method outside of Make is it wasn’t working whatever I did.

Thanks anyway
