Filter Database Items by Status Property

I am using the Notion integration with the “Search Objects” module. I am connecting a database, Search Objects in Database Items and I am trying to filter by a Status type of property. However, this property is not being shown in the dropdown.

Is this still the case? Notion Search by Status

That this type of property is not supported by this module yet?

And if so, how can I make it work with an API call?

Welcome to the Make community!

That’s a great idea! I’m sure others would agree that this is a nice feature to have.

You can submit this suggestion to the Idea exchange, under App improvement ideas.

Don’t forget to search for it first, just in case someone already suggested it, so that you don’t end up creating a duplicate.

In the meantime, you can continue to use workaround mentioned in the linked thread.

But I don’t understand why this is already integrated in the “Update a database item” module as seen here:

And it is not integrated in the “Search Objects” module.

It is essential to be able to filter pages in a database based on a Status property to later update other properties of these pages, with that pre-defined filter.

Correct. This can only be implemented by Make, so a petition for it to be done is necessary. Please see my previous post for further instructions.

There are already App Improvements ideas around this topic opened since 2022:

But still no implementation has been done.
