Get notification on Whatsapp that there's a new file in a GDrive folder

Hi everyone - I want to end a workflow that creates a new GDoc in an existing folder by notifying me about it via my private WhatsApp account. How do I do that with Make? An answer from the ‘knowledge community’ here would be great! Regards, Sebastian

First, you have to follow all the documentation for connection WhatsApp Business with Make.com WhatsApp Business Cloud (make.com)

After everything is set, you can use Send a WhatsApp Message module in your scenario after the module where you create the new GDoc. You can set a template for the message inside the WhatsApp app and use mapping for different information that you want to send in the message.

Make has many integration partners that provide WhatsApp functionality for sending messages.

If you want to use the WhatsApp Business API (WABA), here’s a good tutorial using their native connector [1]. You won’t have the flexibility of sending any message content without a preapproved template, but it will work with your existing WABA number hosted on Meta’s CloudAPI.

If you want to go with the option where you bring your own number using the free versions of WhatsApp, we created 2Chat for exactly that purpose.
