In looking at the Facebook Pages app, there doesn’t seem to be a way to get the follower count for a public page. This is a pretty basic type of request in the social media world. Is anyone out there using make.com to get this data?
Additionally, some of the Facebook apps are pretty outdated, at least with their language. The “Facebook Insights” app offers the ability to “Get Insights” or “Create a Job” relating to ads or campaigns… social media marketers will immediately recognize this problem, because the “Facebook Insights” offering from FB is not related to ads or campaigns, but to organic posts and page insights, and there’s no “create a job” option in Facebook Insights. So I’m guessing this is all just old language here.
Lastly, it would be AMAZING if the Facebook and Instagram apps had the “Make API Call” option like so many other Make.com apps. There is basic functionality missing from the current apps, but users could use a generic API call and not have to wait for Make.com devs to update things as they rapidly change.
Long story long - I love this product, but we’re missing some easy wins that would greatly expand the utility of these tools. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
