I have a scenario on make.com that uses Gmail “Watch Email”. The scenario is scheduled every 15 minutes and has been working fine for the past week. Unfortunately, today a strange situation occurred - the scenario triggered at 15:44 retrieved an email dated July 29, 2024, 15:35, but the next run at 15:59 started retrieving emails from July 18, 2024, 18:31. It looks to me like the Gmail Watch module reset, causing it to start fetching all emails from the moment the scenario was originally created.
Is there something I don’t understand about how Gmail Watch works?

Best practice I usually will only watch unread emails and mark them as read when done. Is it possible if you are doing the same someone with email access move it to unread??

Hello @Mr.Make, I configured “Choose where to start” and the scenario was running for more than one week without an issue.
For me this behaviour that I described is a bug in make.com platform (or module gmail watch emails).
I cannot watch unread email and makr them as read when done - the scenario that I’m using should not make any changes on gmail mailbox.
Okay, that makes sense—it could be a bug then. It’s a practice I like to use when monitoring emails, but I understand that not all processes can accommodate that. Keep us updated if the team has a response for you or it happens again.
