Google Drive connection requires verification?

I configured the OAuth set up as descibed here: Google Drive - Apps Documentation .

As I added the scopes /auth/drive and /auth/drive/readonly - as it says in the documentation - it is marked as restricted scope and it requires verification.

For verificaton I need to explain what I’m doing, even publish a video on Youtube.

Is this known / normal? Can I avoid / bypass this??

You do not need to verify. You are only required to publish.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

It looks like Make is rewriting this process, that would be great. But it’s still confusing, as the documentation is “in progress” and still mentioning that for a personal gmail account using the google drive you need to add to scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive, which requires verification by Google.

Am I missing something?

^ see the above.

Just ignore the “warning”.
