Has anyone used TextmeBot to send messages to WhatsApp groups?

What are you trying to achieve?

I am trying to use this TextmeBot to send messages to WhatsApp, to be precise to WhatsApp groups, to send messages to normal people. The truth is that it is working very well without any problems, but I have not been able to make it send to groups. Has anyone of you used it and found a way?

Steps taken so far

Speaking with API support, they mention several ways to send messages, which I have already done, and so far sending messages to groups still does not work.

I don’t use WhatsApp so I don’t know the details, but I think it is not possible to send to groups.
From reading the API Reference, it seems that messages can only be sent to individuals.
