Hi Makers
Prem here,
Most automation problems are not industry problems.
They are operations problems.
I work with teams across very different industries, but the pain always looks the same:
manual work, broken workflows, no visibility and systems that stop working when things scale.
If you’re here to hire a Make.com expert: I am Prem Patel, founder of Nex Automations, an AI systems studio. I hold the Make Level 5 Expert certification (the top individual tier, held by few hundred people globally) and Nex Automations is a listed Make Silver Partner you can verify in the official directory. Over 6 years I’ve shipped 1,200+ systems for 210+ clients, from clean automations to AI agents and full AI systems that run real operations on Make.
Industries I Commonly Support
I work across both digital and traditional businesses, including:
- Law firms and legal operations
- Accounting and finance teams
- Garages, workshops, and service businesses
- Media agencies and marketing teams
- E-commerce and DTC brands
- SaaS and internal ops teams
- Real estate and property management
- Ops-heavy small and mid-size businesses
Different industries.
Same need for clean systems that don’t break.
What I Help With
I work across the full range, from a single automation to a system that runs a whole function.
Automation Architecture
Designing workflows properly before building anything, so the foundation is sound.
Make.com Scenario Design and Cleanup
Building or fixing scenarios so they are readable, modular and stable.
AI Automation
Adding AI steps inside workflows where they earn their place: extracting data, generating content, classifying and routing.
AI Agents
Building systems that make decisions and take actions, not just fixed if-this-then-that paths. For when a workflow needs judgement, not just a trigger.
AI Systems
Connecting multiple workflows and agents into operational infrastructure that runs a function end to end: CRMs, forms, emails, dashboards and internal tools working together.
Ongoing Support
Helping teams maintain, monitor, and improve systems over time.
Where the Line Sits Between Automation and an AI Agent
This trips up a lot of people, so worth saying plainly. A plain automation follows a fixed path you designed. An AI automation runs an AI step inside that path. An AI agent decides what to do next based on the input, with some autonomy. An AI system is several of these working together as one operation.
Knowing which one a problem actually needs is half the job. Most problems don’t need an agent. Some absolutely do, and using a fixed automation there is why so many builds break.
Why Work With Me
- Level 5 Certified Make Expert (top individual tier, only few globally)
- Zapier Certified Professional
- 1,200+ automation and AI systems built across industries
- Experience with Make, Zapier, n8n, OpenAI, Claude, APIs, Airtable, Google Workspace and more
I don’t build one-off automations.
I design AI systems that people can trust day after day.
My View on AI and Automation
AI can build workflows now.
But reliable AI systems still need structure, logic, and human thinking. The hard part was never connecting the tools, it’s designing something that holds up when the input is messy and the stakes are real.
