How to Schedule LinkedIn Posts with Make and Notion for Specific Dates?

Hi everyone!

I’m new to Make and I have a question.

I’ve created a scenario to automate my LinkedIn posts using a Notion database. In my Notion database, I have a column called “Status,” and when I set it to “Scheduled,” the post is published when the scenario runs.

However, I want the scenario to publish only the post that matches today’s date based on the “Publication Date” column in Notion.

How can I configure my Make scenario to post only the content scheduled for the current day and ignore the others?

Hi Milard,
Could you use a filter to only allow today’s posts to continue in the scenario?
If not, you may share your scenario setup (screenshots or blueprint) so I can understand better.

No problem, here is what you can do:

After the Notion module and before the following one, add a filter that is configured like so:

Date (the date property mapped from the Notion module)
→ date: equals
—> formatDate({{now}}; YYYY-MM-DD)

And It’s not working idk why. The filter block the post

Select “formatDate” from the date functions available in the Make popup menu. It should look like the screenshot in my previous message in order to work (notice how “formatDate” is greyed out and so are the parentheses
