hi! i m searching on google and youtube how to turn on and off the shelly, but i cant.
i tried webhook but doesnt work and, the http module to post an url doesnt work.

i want to make a scenario that when i recive an order a lamp will turn on .

You can search this community for “home automation” and you may find some hints about why this isn’t working as expected along with some helpful workarounds.

Essentially that address 192.168.1.234 is internal to your home network so Make cannot access it. HTTP is the correct module to use, but the address won’t work.

Here are some options you have:

  • Use your public IP address and set up port forwarding but this is so insecure and not advised to even try.
  • Set up a server or daemon on a system in your home to handle the requests in a secure fashion. Set it up such that it can only accepts requests from Make’s IP addresses and send a secret in the request to be validated on your server to ensure it is valid.
