That constant “POP timed out” message usually means the connection settings aren’t matching your email provider. I’ve had similar issues when the port or encryption type was wrong. Double-check whether it should be SSL/TLS and confirm the correct server address. Sometimes switching to IMAP instead of POP solves the problem altogether and stops the repeated timeout errors.
