Watch Emails Module The operation timed out

Since last night, I have been getting the “The operation timed out” error in all of my scenarios that contain the Watch Email module. I opened a ticket with support, and they advised me to create a new Watch Emails module and try running the scenario again. They also mentioned that the issue could be related to the Gmail server.

I deleted the Watch Emails modules in my scenarios and recreated them, but this did not solve the problem. I even deleted some scenarios entirely and rebuilt them, but the issue persisted. Additionally, when I checked Google’s status reports, I did not see any problems or outages. I reauthorized my email via the Connection settings, but that also did not resolve the issue.

Additionally, the support team recommended that I use the Break Error Handler. However, if I enable this feature, I will not be notified of any other possible errors or warnings. For this reason, I prefer not to use it.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Is there anyone who can help me with this? Neither the support team nor the information I found online has resolved my issue.

Your support team keeps blaming only Google and don’t offers any constructive solution. On the other hand, Google says there are no issues or outages on their servers and points to make.com as the source of the problem.

In short, my problem is still happening intermittently. I continue to receive warning emails and errors from time to time. However, apart from simple suggestions that do not solve my problem, the support team has not offered any real solution or mentioned any steps taken to actually fix the issue.

A connection timeout means Google email server did not respond to Make with the connection settings you provided.

Putting an error handler on the trigger module wouldn’t really solve the main issue.

I suggest that you switch to a Custom Mailhook module instead.
