I have a Watch Emails for Gmail step in a bunch of my scenarios, and it fails once every few days (but is successful in between these times)
Error wording is:
Timed out while authenticating with server
Cannot initialize the scenario because of the reason 'Timed out while authenticating with server'
I’ve tried verifying and re-authorising the connection - anyone have an idea why this would be happening so inconsistently?

Same problem here! I tried to authorize the connection with Gmail via Cloud Platform and OAuth, but only run once!
Also encountering this problem across my scenarios. It just started today around 6:30AM EST. I have re-authorized and also tried making a new connection (through sign in with Google feature using company email) with same credentials, and still no luck. The new connection did finalize, but then when Make was trying to fetch the folders for me to choose from it just spins and spins.

Hi everyone, if you are using the “Watch Emails” Gmail module, I’d recommend switching to using the Custom Mailhook module instead.
This bypasses any authentication issues, and allows your scenario to run almost instantly when an email is received from your mail provider.
