Image Quality Issues Using CANVA: Export a Design

Hi Makers! I’m noticing slightly blurry images when using the Canva module ‘Export a Design’ compared to manually downloading directly from Canva. I have a premium account and have tried all possible settings in the module, including image size, quality, file formats, and compression settings, as well as download URL vs. data.

I haven’t been able to achieve the same quality as a manual download from Canva.com.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or does anyone have ideas for a solution?

It seems we need to define advance params, by default it’s taking the baseline export configuration.

probably the parameter that’s on ‘regular’ only, since other parameter settings seems to be integrated… Let me know when there will be changes. Thanks!

At present, the Export a Design module doesn’t specify a value for the export_quality parameter, which then defaults to regular.

We have an enhancement ticket in progress for this.

If you don’t want to wait for that, you could explore using the Canva app’s Make an API Call module to access the API endpoint directly, specifying the value of that parameter as pro.
