Subject: Issue with Script Links and Error Information
Dear [Team],
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing to report an issue I have encountered while using Make. It concerns the functionality of script links and the error messages associated with them.
The problem I am experiencing revolves around the execution of script links specifically within Google Docs. Despite using the same variables and syntax that successfully work within Google Sheets, I encounter an error message stating: “Invalid JSON payload received. Unknown name ‘replaceText’ at ‘requests[4].replace_all_text’: Proto field is not repeating, cannot start list.”
It is worth noting that these variables function correctly when applied within Google Sheets, where they are appropriately replaced. However, the same variables fail to execute within the Google Docs application, leading to the aforementioned error message.
I have attempted various troubleshooting steps, including ensuring the correct syntax for the replace_all_text
function within my Make script. Nevertheless, the issue persists, impeding the successful execution of my automation tasks.
In light of this, I kindly request your assistance in investigating the underlying cause of this discrepancy between Google Sheets and Google Docs. Any insights or guidance you can provide to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Please let me know if you require any further information or if there are specific actions I can take to aid in the resolution process.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards, f
