Issues with Gmail Integration - Reauthorization Loop

Hi,
I am currently facing an issue with integrating my personal Gmail account with Make.com, and I would appreciate your assistance.

The problem I’m encountering is that, despite following the reauthorization process multiple times, the “Reauthorize” button remains displayed, indicating that my Gmail connection hasn’t been successfully established. I’ve confirmed that Make.com (or Integromat) has access to the necessary Google services in my Google account settings, but the integration still does not complete properly.

Here are the steps I have taken so far:

  1. I have configured my own Google Cloud Project with OAuth credentials, following your documentation for a custom OAuth client.
  2. I have added the necessary redirect URIs, and the OAuth consent screen is in production mode.
  3. I have checked and ensured that all the required scopes are accepted during the authorization process.
  4. I have also tried reauthorizing multiple times, including using incognito mode and clearing previous connections.
  5. I even revoked Make.com’s access from my Google account and attempted to re-establish it from scratch.

Despite all these attempts, the “Reauthorize” button remains visible, and I cannot fully connect my Gmail account.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I would appreciate any advice or actions that could help me finalize this integration successfully.

Thank you very much for your support.

Hi Melanie, the Reauthorize button always shows for connections that can well, technically be re-authorized. It’s the Verify button you want to press, if you want to check if your connection works or not. If you get the green tick you are good to go
