Issues with Posting to a LinkedIn organization page - need to get Linkedin API?

Hi, im setting up a social media automation flow and want to post image posts on my business linkedin page. I got it to work just fine on my personal LinkedIn page but I guess organization(business) pages have different settings. I read somewhere where I need to use a LinkedIn API but not sure and can’t find any resources talking about it. “How to configure my business LinkedIn page so it connects properly to my Make.com automation.”

thanks!!

Yes! You don’t necessarily need to work with the LinkedIn API manually. Make.com already has a LinkedIn module that allows you to post on an organization (business) page without complex API setups.

Steps to Connect LinkedIn to Make.com for Business Page Posting:

  1. Add the LinkedIn module in Make.com.
  2. Select “Create an Organization Text Post” (or Image/Video post based on your needs).
  3. Authenticate your LinkedIn account (ensure you have admin access to the business page).
  4. Map the required fields (post content, links, images, etc.).
  5. Run the scenario to test the post.

If you’re still facing connection errors, ensure:

  • You have Admin access to the LinkedIn business page.
  • Your LinkedIn permissions allow third-party automation tools.
  • The correct LinkedIn account is connected in Make.com.

This should solve your issue without needing to manually handle OAuth and API requests. Let me know if you need further clarification! :rocket:

thank you for the reply. I do have the “create an organization image post” module already linked up and mapped properly. I am a super admin on our business page but can’t find where to allow 3rd party automation tools in the linkedin settings. when i run the scenario it gets all the way to the linkedin module but then pops back this error code: DataError
400: com.linkedin.content.common.exception.BadRequestResponseException: Company/organizational page owned UGCs cannot have CONNECTIONS MemberNetworkVisibility.
