I’m looking to hire someone to create an automation for me. I’m brand new to Make, but I have some basic experience with Zapier and have created 10-15 zaps.
This is what I’m looking to create in Make (or even Zapier):
Find emails that come from a specific email address
Read and analyze the email to understand what it says (or possibly extract data into a structured data format)
Read and analyze data in a Google Sheet
Compare the two (data from email and data from Google Sheet) to see if they are a match or a good fit
Compose an email if they are a match or a good fit using a specific email template (not design template but what to say in the email and how to say it)
Send off the email to the reply-to email address that was extracted from the original email in step 1 (we could have the email just drafted and not sent off if we need to refine and the train the AI more first)
I’m assuming we will need to use AI for some of these steps. If we can get this working, I’d like to expand it to do the same with emails from another email address or two. But those email are structured differently so I’m not sure if we’d need separate automations for those or if it could all be done in one automation.
One of the more important things I’m concerned about is that the automation(s) are reliable and will work every time; unless of course there’s an actual software outage. I just mean that the automations are built in a way that makes errors rare and ensures the tasks are completed reliably.
If you’re interested and have done something like this before, I’d love to chat. I’m not looking to hire someone who’s never done this before or someone who overstates their skill level. I’ve been burned on UpWork too many times. I’d rather pay a better rate to find someone with experience and skill. Let me know if this is you.

You’ve laid out a very thoughtful and well-structured automation plan — and yes, what you’re describing is definitely possible with Make.com, and in some cases even with Zapier, though Make would give you more flexibility for AI + structured data comparison. We can use AI (like OpenAI) to extract and interpret unstructured text
