Manually selecting from the results of a previous action?

Hello there!

I am new to this community and Make.

I need help tying to figure something out: I am very familiar with Siri Shortcuts where you can run a search for lets say Reminders that contain a specific text and then you can add a “Choose from List” action to choose the specific one you are looking for, which will then get passed to the next action, and so on.

I am trying to replicate something similar with Make and Notion. Since there is no way to share a file directly with a Notion database page from MacOs, I want to build a scenario that looks for a keyword, finds all the matching items in the database and returns a list to me from which i can then select the specific item i would like to share the file to.

I am familiar on how to do the last part, but how can I manually choose from a database?

The reason why i need this to work this way is that if i have a Project database and need to save a piece of info to one of the projects, ideally i get prompted to choose from a list of narrowed down pages through a keyword as most likely i will not remember the project name in its entirety.

is this even possibile?
I am also open to other suggestions on how to achieve this.

Thank you!!

Welcome to the Make community!

Perhaps use the Notion “Search Objects” module?
