Message Too Large (Email Attachment)

I first downloaded a PDF using the Google Drive ‘Download a File’ function. I am trying to attach this PDF to a draft email, but Make throws a “Message too large. Send attachments with your Gmail message - Computer - Gmail Help” error.

However, the Google Support article they link to states that the maximum attachment size is 25 MB. My PDF size is only 18 MB. I also created the exact same email in Gmail, attached the 18MB PDF, and was able to send the email with no problem.

I tried compressing the file and tested a PDF that is only 8 MB. However, I still get the same error. I’ve also upgraded my account to the Core subscription, so I should be able to work with file sizes up to 100MB. Please help!!

Hey @codenebula748,

the maximum size of the document you can attach to your email is 15MB. So if your document is greater, I would recommend uploading it on Google Drive and then sharing the sharing link in your email.
