My goal is to understand whether this Google Drive disconnection issue is a known limitation of OAuth and to identify any best practices or recommended setups in Make.com to minimize or prevent it in the future.

Hello,
I’m facing an issue where the Google Drive connection in Make.com randomly disconnects and returns an “Invalid refresh token” error.

The scenario itself hasn’t changed, but after some time the connection stops working and requires reauthorization. The connection is currently using a personal Google account.

Is this a known limitation with Google OAuth?
Is there any recommended setup or best practice (e.g., service accounts or dedicated automation accounts) to prevent this from happening permanently?

I’ll admit I’m not as well-versed in this as I probably should be, but by any chance have you been regularly changing the password of the connected Google account? Are these disconnections in correlation with that?

If that’s not the problem, you can try using a Custom OAuth Connection.
