Need Help with Google Calendar -->Make.com-->Quo

I have events that auto populate as an Event to my Google Calendar. I need a text message to be sent based on the events I create. I tried to integrate my Google Calendar with Make to Quo for sending SMS text. I can get the Google Calendar piece set up, but I cannot successfully make the connection between between Google and Quo using Make. Has anyone been successful doing that? Everything I read doesn’t have the same options or choices. Help
