I’ve identified what appears to be a regression in the LinkedIn “Create a User Post” module.
Previously, when creating a post with a content field and a “Link” section containing a URL, title, description, and thumbnail, all these elements were properly displayed in the resulting LinkedIn post.
Now, the description passed in the parameters no longer appears. The link preview only displays the title and image, but no longer includes the description.
I had also noticed a similar regression recently with video publishing on LinkedIn, which was later fixed. I believe this may be a similar case — it seems the description field is currently not being used. It would be great if this could be reviewed and corrected.
