Quickbooks Search Module Change on Oct 31 clarifying question

We’ve received this email:

Starting October 31, 2025, filters in all Search modules of the QuickBooks app will only support the “Equals” filter option for numbers and text when filtering by any ID. Other filter types will be ignored, and any data mapped through them will not be processed.

To avoid interruptions in your scenarios, please update the filters in affected Search modules to use the “Equals” type by October 31, 2025.

I want to be sure I am reading this part correctly, as I can see a few possible meanings:

for numbers and text when filtering by any ID.

  1. This only affects ID type fields such as Customer ID, as it says “when filtering by any ID”.

  2. This affects all Number and Text type fields, such as Total Amount or Doc Number, as it says “for numbers and text”

  3. This has a more broader reaching effect and affects things in ways I didn’t mention here

Can someone help clear this up?

A secondary question, does anyone know if this is due to a specific API change blocking it’s use, or will we be able to get around this with the Make an API call or HTTP module if necessary?

Hi,

Upcoming changes to the Accounting API.
