Does anyone know how I can reduce the file size of a .mp3 or .mp4 file with CloudConvert (?) or alternatively cut these files into smaller batches to be able to transcribe with Whisper by OpenAI

For mp3, you can convert audio to audio, but lowering the quality, bitrate, sample size, and audio channel to mono:

Sorry @samliew, can I ask how do you get to the audio settings in the screenshot? When I open the cloudconvert module and select ‘convert a file’ I don’t get the audio dropdown options e.g. bitrate. Thanks in advance:)
That’s the options on the CC website.
