Hey everyone,
Right now, I am evaluating Zapier and make.com for a customer who is using Salesforce for automation.
In Zapier, I can log in with my credentials, and there is no problem using Zapier with Salesforce.
When I log in with the same credentials on make.com, I get a message saying, “403 REST API is not enabled.”
I have no clue what both tools do differently. Is anyone experiencing the same problems?
Hello @norodon,
I don’t use Salesforce, but since you haven’t received any replies yet I’ll just make one comment.
Sometimes Zapier has special arrangements to use products only with Zapier. Maybe it’s even an entirely different domain or set of endpoints.
Or, you just may not be setting it up correctly in Make.
Some apps have special set up instructions, most notably, Google.
Can you provide more detail about how you’re setting up the connection, but of course mask any credentials?
Thanks!

It seems to be a special agreement, I thought the same…
After registering for a “Developer Account” everything worked out fine with Make @Donald_Mitchell
